A reminder to professional salespeople and professionals that have to expand their clients.

Being assertive and asking tough and direct questions is not a tactic for YOU, it is simply being respectful to those that are TRUE prospects that you MAY be able to assist.

If you're tip toeing through the tulips you're only bringing a disservice to yourself and the prospect.

Somehow salespeople perceive being direct as self-serving, it is not, its efficient. But only IF you are comfortable with the TRUTH.

If your assertiveness is about you and what you want, then it's useless.
